Federico Knuchel, president of the Club de Golf Alcanada and former president of the Golf Courses Association of Mallorca, received last Sunday, October 1, the “Galardón del Fomento 2017” for his dedication to the golf tourism industry.
The Board of Directors of the Development of Tourism of Mallorca met in the facilities of Palma Airport giving the awards of this Entity to the people, companies or associations that have excelled in their work for the benefit of the island and its tourism industry.
Federico Knuchel, born in the Swiss town of Schaffhausen, is a lover of Majorca and golf and is convinced that the island can become a benchmark in the world of golf.
