The Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) is a sedentary bird in Mallorca, with black peak and legs, and yellow feet.

This is a common and locally abundant species, especially in humid areas with an abundance of small fishes.

It can be also seen on the coast, on well preserved rocky stretches during Autumn and Winter.

The Little Egret was detected on 3 occasions. Like the shag, only it has been observed on the coast.
