The booted eagle (Aquila pennata) is a medium-sized raptor, powerful and elegant. There are both pale birds, with white underparts and dark, of chocolaty tones. It is an excellent hunter.
It is the most common and well spread eagle in Mallorca, present in all regions with suitable abundant hunting and some reassurance.
The eagle has been observed hunting on the golf course a couple of times in the late summer and autumn, thus being able to treat both local and migrant birds.
