Last Friday 5th February 2016 took place a tribute to Peter Dost, appreciated golf pro of the Club de Golf Alcanada, who died tragically in a skiing accident in March 2014.
Peter Dost was Head Pro at Club de Golf Alcanada since his opening in October 2003.
The club won great prestige and numerous international awards, where Peter Dost was involved, with his fabulous deal with people and his kindness.
This tribute is the 2nd Memorial Peter Dost celebrated. It has brought together the staff of golf courses throughout the island, both professionals and amateurs.
In the competition, played under the format of stableford, 18 teams participated in four ball teams.
The winning team, formed by players Luis Alirio Ruiz-Matamoros, Jose Manuel Pulido del Moral, Beatriz Agustin Cañadas and Jorge Sanchez Juan, won with a total of 50 points.
After the competition, which began at midday, there was dinner and awards ceremony.
People enjoyed a great day with fellowship and good atmosphere very characteristic the club.
