Alcanada Golf hosted last May, the Porsche Golf Cup World Final 2015.

Over the two final days, a total of 65 participants from 13 nations (Germany, Switzerland, Poland, UK, Mexico, USA, Australia, China, Korea, Taiwan, Abu Dhabi, Japan and Austria) played to Stableford rules for valuable prizes. Serving as a fitting setting were the courses of the Golf Club Son Muntaner in Palma and Golf Club Alcanada in Port d’Alcudia, with the latter in particular proving to be extremely challenging on the final day with strong winds in the Bay of Alcudia.

The classification was totally dominated by the teams from Asia.

The path to the 2015 Porsche Golf Cup World Final was via a total of 150 qualifying tournaments, which were staged over the past twelve months. In this series of amateur tournaments open exclusively to Porsche customers, more than 8,000 entrants played for a place in the final.
