As can happen to us with all the sports that we practice and want to improve, we may have the feeling at some point that we are not progressing and we are wasting time dedicating those hours a week. You have to know what has happened to all of us at some point in our lives, so you should not get frustrated, you just have to learn to manage those hours and really know what you have to do and what not to be a little bit better every time.

Whenever we go out to the course, we must do it 100%, in addition there is no doubt that when it comes to practicing our favourite sports it is the way we have to escape from our hectic day to day. Therefore, we have to know very well what to focus on in order to take a step forward in our technique and in our game to be among the best of the moment. We are going to dedicate you today a series of tips so that you can carry them out and know how to practice your game without wasting time.

Prepare before you start

Take a few minutes to visualize your training and know where you want to go. Not every day you will do the same exercises or practice the same strokes, so it is better that you make a weekly schedule where you specify what you have to do one day or another. Apart from this, we are going to give you some recommendations so that you can apply them in the first person and know how to manage your workouts well:

  • There is no doubt that the first thing we need to know is the time available that we are going to dedicate to it. It doesn’t have to be a lot, but even if you have little time, those minutes are as effective as possible. Of course, it can be improved in a short time, but we have to use it well. So, the next point would be:
  • Do you really want to improve your technique or do you just play for fun and spend time with your acquaintances? This is the key question, because if your answer is no, you don’t have to worry either. Each one takes the sport as they want, according to their level of demand. On the contrary, if your answer is yes, that’s when you have to start preparing for each round.

To do this, we are going to explain to you what you have to focus on to start each session:

  1. Go with a definite plan. When you get to the course you have to know what type of shot you want to improve or what movement you should perfect.
  2. Don’t waste time on unnecessary things. Save them for later and focus on the goal you have come to play for today.
  3. Ask for advice from professionals or those who have a higher level than you. They will help you improve your game.

With this series of tips, you can be more focused than ever on your shots on the course. Of course, do not despair because practice makes a good player.
