At Club de Golf Alcanada, one of the most acclaimed golf courses in Majorca, we are proud to be able to share this great news with you. For yet another year, Alcanada has once again received one of the industry’s great awards in this sector, the 59club Gold Flag. This award of high international recognition was awarded at the tenth edition of the 59club consultancy annual Excellence in Service Gala, held on March 12, 2020 at The Forrest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
These awards are handed out to golf clubs which their success is recognized, based on excellence in service, evaluating the different departments into which the clubs are divided, such as, sales, services, pro-shop, operations, golf course, restoration and management. These sections are evaluated by specific and independent mistery shoppers in order to improve the experience offered to golfers who visit the club, and are evaluated based on 59club criteria.
After a day filled with educational seminars, we had the pleasure of attending the brilliant award ceremony in honor of the best providers in customer service for having achieved the highest standards of excellence in 2019. Along with 13 others Golf clubs, the already multi-award-winning Majorcan Club de Golf Alcanada, being the only golf course next to the sea in the Balearic Islands, received the Golden Flag from the hand of its golf director, Kristoff Both.
These awards give us the ability to recognize venues that have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to engage, analyze and enrich the experience of both partners and guests.
