We are one of the six courses that, during the 67th “PGA Merchandise Show” in Orlando, Florida, was awarded by Bodo Sieber, CEO of Tagmarshal, with the “Diamond Partner 2019” award.
Tagmarshal is one of our partners, specialized in the optimization of the pace of play, and subsequently the customer experience on the course.
In the case of Club de Golf Alcanada, 83% of the 3583 rounds evaluated were played within the ideal pace of play, with an average duration of 4 hours and 17 minutes per round. We have also managed to reduce the average duration of the round by 4 minutes.
The selection was made among a total of 250 golf courses worldwide, and was awarded to those courses that obtained outstanding results in terms of game experience, game pace, communication with the player, as well as service on the course.
Other clubs who achieved similar results to qualify for a Diamond Award include: 2018 The Open hosts Carnoustie, Walker Cup hosts and USA top 100 club Quaker Ridge and 2017 US Open Hosts Erin Hills.
