Although the weather ruined the golf at Alcanada Golf’s President Cup, it couldn’t dampen the spirits in the clubhouse afterwards.
The traditional individual Stableford competition, held on September 24, kicked off with a shotgun start at 9am but then had to be abandoned after 14 holes because of the heavy rain.
Although it meant the rounds could not be completed and the awards ceremony was cancelled, the participants dried off and still enjoyed a delicious meal in the clubhouse, with live music.
