Golf Club of Alcanada, a benchmark for golf in Majorca and winner of a long list of awards in the European rankings, has started work on the ambitious €700,000 renovation project.
As part of the works, all 18 greens will be replaced and further upgrades in and around the club will take place, with the course now closed until February 28, 2019.
During the estimated three-month project, the driving range area will remain open, but the restaurant and the pro shop will also be closed.
Staff will be available to assist during office hours from 8.30am to 4.30 pm, while reservations and bookings for 2019 can also be made via the website www.golf-alcanada.com.
Everyone at Alcanada looks forward to welcoming more visitors in 2019 and is confident that the experience will even be better when the course reopens in the spring.
