Golf Academy

The Alcanada golf academy, run by head professional Joan González Camarero-Nuñez, offers custom golf learning and training programmes. Hourly lessons, quick-fix or week-long programmes, TaylorMade club fitting, golf rules and etiquette, individual or group lessons may be arranged.

If you are looking to take your first steps in the world of golf, this is your big chance. Join our classes taught at different holes by a professional who will give you advice, training and share their experience. Apart from the opportunity to play this beautiful sport, you can also enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the golf course.

Club de Golf Alcanada is the ideal place for young and old, beginners or experienced players and they are taught using the latest technology (Flightscope, high-speed cameras, Swing Catalyst etc) and the latest teaching methods, by certified PGA pros. By working with these tools and having staff on hand to help, we guarantee that your game will quickly improve. Golf classes can be taken in Spanish, English, German, Dutch or French, so that we can meet the needs of our visitors. Continue to improve your game with our team of professional golf teachers.

Our Mallorca golf club offers different types of courses depending on your level:

-          Introduction to golf: aimed at people who are interested in playing this sport for the first time. Balls for the practice course and club hire included.

-        Beginners course: five-day course that teaches you how to play golf from the beginning. Pro John Verhappen will help you learn about swing, rules, etiquette and give you the chance to play to par on our course for the first time.

-          Starter course: three-day course taught by a professional expert in the long and short game, putting, rules and etiquette.

-          Advanced course: three-day courses with three hours’ teaching per day to practice the long and short game and putting. We also use measuring devices and training aids.
