One of the most significant recompenses is the opportunity to participate and win international tournaments and championships around the world, knowing fantastic places, enjoying magnificent conditions and earning generous prizes. This year golf courses in Majorca are dressed up to receive the Challenge Tour.

This is the second stage for professional male golf in Europe and is sponsored by the PGA European Tour; the association which controls the three most important men’s certified golf coups. Its center of operations is located in Surrey England. Some of the events have been held outside the continent, for example, in Varadero, Cuba; Muscat, Oman; Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

In this occasion, the Challenge Tour Grand Final will be at Alcanada Golf Club, from November 7-10, 2019. This tournament has taken place every year since 1995, starting in Portugal. It has been played in France and Italy too, but this is the first time it goes to Spain; specifically to Majorca, the major of the Balearic Islands. This event is quite special, because the winner receives a minimum of 17 Official World Golf Ranking instead of the usual 12.

The winner and prize fund is of €420,000

Alcanada is the best golf course for this competition. It is situated in Port d’Alcúdia, north spot of the Mediterranean land mass of Majorca. The gorgeous installations are placed next to the ocean and from most of the holes the islet and its charming lighthouse (that gave the course its name) can be seen. On the other side the Tramuntana Range offers its beauty to the players.
